This drawing represents my daughter, full of life and protections. She holds down a clown with her right hand, in my hopes for her to be strong in the face of the ever surrounding entertainments that can sweep us into their paths.. The umbrella is behind her, as she has always loved umbrellas, and it stands ready for her when she needs it. The rain comes down on the right, in large shapes to water the ground she stands on ( which is also the sand of the beach)... and will nourish her growth... nourish the earth..
